Future expatriates often conduct a brief visit to Greece for a “Look & See” familiarization tour. The Orientation Program varies between half to multiple days, its intent to provide you with a general overview of life in your new destination coupled with a typical housing overview. An area tour includes typical expatriate housing areas, schooling overview, banking & transportation facilities, medical & dental services, shopping, government offices, churches, museums, parks, & leisure facilities. We present you with a comprehensive information package which includes maps, info on transportation and timetables, school information, a listing of medical facilities & doctors, places of worship, info on security, insurance providers, expatriate clubs & organizations, recreational facilities.
Home Finding Program:
Helping you and your family find suitable housing is a vital first step to the overall success of your relocation. ARC’s consultant is your point of contact, providing you a Home Finding program based on a customized needs analysis defined by you. Programs range from 1-6 days, and encompass every aspect of homesearch and Settling In. Our relocation consultant will accompany you & your family to viewings of previewed properties, advise on lease arrangements for the selected property acting as a liaison on behalf of the expatriate with local brokers and monitor the lease documentation process.
Settling In Services:
ARC assures you & your family will experience a smooth transition through our integrated Settling In services tailored to your needs. We offer move-in day assistance, help in selecting and purchasing local goods, furniture and electrical appliances, transfer of utilities, phone and internet installation. Our consultant will accompany you in opening a bank account, applying for local registration (Greek Tax Number AFM), and provide auto information for lease or purchase. Ongoing Support Services:
We provide ongoing support for our clients for up to six months by keeping an open line with you for any questions or needs that may arise. Cross Cultural Training:
Cultural Training Specialist prepare you for a successful assimilation into the new host country’s culture, customs, & business practices. Since culture has an impact on virtually every aspect of life, learning about it and developing skills to adapt to the new environment is extremely important. Training covers everything you need to know, from the host country’s culture and business protocol to minimizing “culture shock”. Immigration-Visa & Work Permit:
Our attorney, with many years of experience with corporate clients and in liaison with both expatriate and employing company, will coordinate the documentation process (visas, work & residence permits). Lease Management:

This is temporary housing accommodations normally used by expats on a “short term assignment” or for families needing spacious accommodations while searching for properties on a long term assignment. ARC accesses your specific temporary housing needs and we show you properties that fit your requirements. ARC provides you w/quality accommodations, avoiding costly, lengthy hotel stays. Departure/Repatriation Program: ARC’s Departure Services relieves you of the myriad of details involved in vacating residences and allows you to prepare for your next assignment. We set aside a detailed departure program which provides necessary assistance for lease termination, cancellation of utilities & telephone/internet connections, retrieval of security deposit, bank account closures, furniture removal, post office departure notification, deregistration of privately owned vehicles, etc. Home Purchase Program:
Based on your housing & budget requirements, our ARC consultant will act as liaison between the expatriate and local brokers in viewing a selection of desirable properties. ARC provides counsel and assistance in all aspects. We will provide you with referrals for appraisers, banking & legal services.
